Metaverse Fashion Week is a global virtual reality event taking place in Shanghai through Aug 28th. VR technology allows for designers to show off their latest creations from anywhere in the world, making it possible for fashion enthusiasts around the globe to experience the same runway shows on top of other innovative experiences like cryptocurrency trading and health care consultations with doctors.

Auroboros, the digital-native luxury fashion business, will cap MVFW with a presentation unlike any other—in or out of the metaverse—with a virtual performance by Grimes, their first muse and artist—and you’re invited!
Experience Grimes in her avatar form, as well as her DJ performance with AI integration, a floating stage, and a heavenly light display, all set in a 360° soundscape. The display room is built in such a manner that guests can immerse themselves in Grimes’ performance while also getting a close look at Auroboros’ digital collection, which is inspired by the organic forms of Auroboros’ Biomimicry collection. Grimes will wear the Auroboros ‘Mystique’ bodysuit, which was inspired by iconic sci-fi films such as X-men and Black Panther.
Together with UNXD, recognized for bringing classic luxury fashion and the most culturally important events into the metaverse, the presentation celebrates the inauguration of the digital fashion house’s metaverse community, the Auroboros Vault, where luxury fashion spans the Web 3.0 environment. Simply said, it is a must-attend event.
