Dr. Bombay’s Sweet Exploration – Snoop’s Upcoming NFT Dessert Parlour

The idea of using NFTs to create immersive experiences is not new. One such example that has been steadily growing in popularity is the concept of virtual cake decorating for a huge range of different flavors, iced all with individual patterns and designs!

After taking inspiration from the launch of LA’s physical NFT restaurant Bored & Hungry, Food Fighters Universe, an exciting startup co-founded by the likes of Andy Nguyen, Kevin Seo and Phillip Huynh, is teaming up with Snoop Dogg to launch another NFT-centric establishment.

Dubbed ‘Dr. Bombay’s Sweet Exploration’ (with Dr Bombay being the name Snoop has attributed to his Bored Ape #6723), the restaurant will complement its LA counterpart rather than operating as a competitor, as it will focus more on dessert options as opposed to Bored & Hungry’s fast food vibe.

The restaurant (or, perhaps, dessert parlour) will be an all-encompassing immersive retail dessert experience, with the upcoming 10,000 asset collection of Food Fighters Universe NFTs expected to serve as membership to events, rewards, and special IRL perks that will take place at the restaurant, as well as at all other physical food ventures from the startup.

As with Bored & Hungry, ‘Dr. Bombay’s Sweet Exploration’ emphasis on Snoop’s rare Bored Ape doesn’t make it an official Bored Ape restaurant, but rather, a manifestation of the lucrative IP rights in which Yuga Labs has embedded into the coveted collection.

According to the project’s introduction, a debut date and venue for Dr. Bombay’s Sweet Exploration have yet to be announced.
