NiftyDOS – A Retro Offering of Playable NFTs

NiftyDOS is a fun and lighthearted offering of playable NFTs, created for those who are not quite ready to make the jump into full-blown crypto collectibles. It offers many different play experiences with some characters having their own unique stories that can be uncovered while playing!

The “nft sales” is a game that allows users to purchase NFTs and play them in the browser. The game includes a variety of different games such as slots, poker, and roulette.

NiftyDOS presents a mind-bending time travel narrative that could only be found in 1980s science fiction flicks. So get in the closest DeLorean and strap yourself up for the adventure of your life.

In a parallel world, NiftyDOS was created by a group of computer scientists, artists, and dreamers in the early 1980s. The team’s work was predicated on the principle that no two instances of software should be the identical, which resulted to the creation of 22 breakthrough (at the time) playable applications, as well as Mr. Pencil, a cutting-edge personal assistant.

After being miraculously recovered and repackaged, NiftyDOS’ work is now heading to the 21st Century of this world, where it will be distributed through NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain in a mix of old and contemporary technology.

Each NiftyDOS NFT includes three separate items: a collectable NiftyDOS artwork, your own personal Mr. Pencil character, and access to the NiftyDOS operating system, which includes 22 online apps.

Each NFT is graphically represented by a one-of-a-kind square artwork piece that is a digital collage made up of NiftyDOS Operating System parts. These include a unique backdrop color scheme, floating components, a visual sample of one of the 22 NiftyDOS Apps is a collection of applications for the DOS operating system., and your very own Mr. Pencil in the bottom right corner.

You will be able to engage with your Mr. Pencil Personal Assistant when you interact with your unique version of the NiftyDOS operating system. When you click on the “?” box in the OS’s bottom right bar, Mr. Pencil appears on demand. Mr. Pencil is made up of a variety of characteristics that make up his distinct DNA. A hat or wig, facial hair, glasses, lips, skin tone, jewelry, collar color, and pencil base color are all examples of these. Mr. Pencils aren’t the same.

You get your own version of the NiftyDOS Operating System when you buy a NiftyDOS NFT. From inside OpenSea, you may access an interactive version of your operating system. The NiftyDOS Operating System includes a number of vintage and sometimes buggy programs that harken back to the early days of personal computer software. Secret clues and Easter eggs are included in some of these applications, which may be used to solve hidden riddles and mysteries.

Ownership of a NiftyDOS NFT will also come with free cat images and “Steve’s UFO Research,” according to a Mr. Pencil promotional video.

The Mint

A maximum of 10,000 NFTs will be available for minting; however, the actual number of minted NFTs will be determined by customer demand, and will not exceed the maximum limit of 10,000 units.

Each NFT will cost 0.06 ETH and will be minted on April 28th at 6 p.m. EST. The project’s silver whitelist (which is still accessible) will also have access to the mint’s early pre-sale.

NiftyDOS Apps is a collection of applications for the DOS operating system.

NiftyDOS’ 22 programs transport users back to the dawn of the Information Age, with vaporware style, early Internet graphics, and glitch art included in each. The applications’ concept ranges from ancient games to odd news, from paint tools to questionable weather predictions, all of which have an archaic yet entertaining user interface.

Following the NFT mint, NiftyDOS will launch a flurry of Easter Egg hidden riddles, with rewards ranging from Ethereum to NFTs for the victors. In the DOS, clues and riddles will be buried throughout the applications. Prizes of this kind will be offered to people who win competitions focusing on generating artworks, music beats, and other creative stuff utilizing the NiftyDOS Operating System’s programs.
