Matt Gondek is a Deconstructive Pop Artist whose art has a punk rock feel to it and celebrates rebellion and destruction. He rips down cartoon idols, equivalent to slaying our modern-day gods, with a vivid pop color palette and a disarmingly amusing tone. His artistic style is entrenched in the 1990s, as a real conduit of his generation’s seemingly meaningless quest for meaning and purpose amidst a terrible existence in a broken world, having been born in 1982. His shows in his hometown of Los Angeles, as well as New York, Paris, and Hong Kong, have all sold out.

Matt Gondek’s most famous Fine Art Paintings and Sculptures have been digitally recreated.

Control Problems

Control Problems was a painting from Gondek’s 2019 exhibition CONTROL in Los Angeles. The piece, like in its name, is about the absolute loss of control — represented by the chaotic nature in the work. This is the First Edition of this piece in premium digital format.
