Artists Can Now Showcase NFTs Remotely at the Web3 NYC Gallery

The Web3 Foundation launched the first ever crypto gallery at Consensus 2018. Artists were given a chance to showcase NFTs remotely without having to physically show up in New York City, which has been a physical challenge for many artists who have not had time or resources to travel.

The “nft art gallery” is a new exhibition that showcases NFTs. The show will be on view at the Web3 NYC gallery in New York City from November 1 to December 8, 2018.

A new NFT gallery in Manhattan, New York City, is giving digital artists the opportunity to show and sell their NFTs in a real art gallery without ever having to leave the country.

The ‘Web3 NYC Gallery’ has partnered up with Tokenframe, the pioneers of NFT displays, to unveil a collection of 300 Genesis NFTs. Only the owners of certain NFTs will be able to exhibit their work in the gallery. Some artists will be able to show their work on a 10-inch Collector’s Club display, while others will be able to show it on a 21.5-inch Degen Club display or a 43-inch Alpha Club display.

Genesis NFT holders will not be required to make any ongoing rent-like payments in order to have their NFTs displayed; instead, they will be required to make a one-time payment for their Genesis NFT, with NFTs for 10-inch displays costing between 1.5 and 2 ETH, and NFTs for 21.5-inch displays costing between 5 and 10 ETH. The NFTs for the 43-inch screens will follow a different path, since they are all being sold privately at undisclosed rates.

Genesis NFT holders will be able to use the software created by the Web3 NYC Gallery to choose whatever digital artwork they want to display. They may do this from the privacy of their own homes, regardless of whatever nation or continent they are on.

For the time being, the only restriction for artists is that their NFT must be stored on the Ethereum blockchain; however, Tokenframe plans to introduce support for other blockchains in the future, including as Tezos and Solana.

QR codes will be used to commence in-store NFT purchases, with tech-savvy colleagues on hand to assist clients in setting up wallets and learning about the basic process of purchasing and maintaining NFTs.

Web3 NYC Gallery, situated at 510 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, opened its doors on June 15th for digital art fans in and around the New York region.

The “selling nft” is a new way for artists to showcase their work on the blockchain. The “NFTs Crypto” gallery in New York City will host the first exhibition of this type, which will feature paintings and sculptures that are all NFTs.
